The end of an era

It seems lilke so much has happened since our last post. Probably because it has! We've been to the UK for the Farnborough Air Show, where Ian befriended an ad sales guy that Annalie knows. To maintain this friendship we went down to DC to visit him where he lives - even though he's a Londoner.

Rob took us out on his boat on the Potomac River for a spot of water skiing with his friends Mark and Tish. They were both excellent skiiers and put the two of us to shame. Ian fared much better on the tube though when we were on our way for a spot of lunch at the crab shack! Sunday was a couple of rounds of frisbee golf - a game we became familiar with in NZ last year - at a local park.

Most importantly, though, our time in the US has come to an end. This post is being made from the lounge at JFK airport as we await our flight back to London. The last four weeks, since we found out we were moving, has been a whirlwind that hasn't stopped. It is only since leaving the office that Annalie has come to terms with the lack of connectivity with the world as she leaves a functioning BlackBerry behind! She feels like a limb has been removed, but Ian is secretly liking it!

From there we travel on to our new life and adventure in New Zealand. We will be setting up a new blog to chronicle our lives there so the saga continues! We'll send the new web address around once it's set up.

But in the meantime, take care everyone. We hope to see you at some point on the other side.
